Morning coffee was brightened up by a visitor appearing on back porch window. The Jumping Spider (about 5mm across) on the glass was lit from underneath by a gentle reflective light and the spider reflections make for an interesting effect. It was released back to the wild after the photo shoot..
Wandering in the foothills and valleys of the Rocky Mountains in summer is a great time to go small and appreciate the bursting colors of wildflowers, busy birds and insects.
